BEAUTY THERAPY
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is the highest level of qualification. It is in-depth course suitable for those who wish to manage or start their own beauty salon, specialise in advanced beauty therapy techniques or simply enhance their knowledge of, body treatments or spa techniques. On the completion you will become a skincare expert able to consult with a client about their skin concerns and their needs. You will be able to recommend a treatment plan and homecare routine.
Course delivery: A combination of classroom – face-to-face with a trainer, home-study and supervised clinic placement.
Course Duration: Full Time: over 40 weeks; in 4 terms
Course Entry Requirements and Pre-Requisites:
There are no formal academic requirements for this qualification, however we require that all students:

Be at least 18 years old;

Successfully complete the pre-enrolment interview including LLN assessment; and

Nominate and have approved by the college a suitable workplace with all necessary resources to complete the practical components of the course
Graduate Outcomes:
After graduation your career opportunity are endless. You may practice independently in your own salon or you may choose to gain valuable experience and work in a Beauty Salon or Spa.
If you're interest is in advanced treatment, Diploma Beauty Therapists Graduates may also work in salons and clinics where advanced technologies such as IPL and Laser are used to perform services including hair removal, microdermabrasion, collagen stimulation, pigmentation reduction, vascular and other anti-aging treatments.
